Rooted in Community: How Ken and Jennifer Give Back in Marin
For us, real estate has always been about more than just homes — it’s about people, connection, and community. Living and working in Marin means being part of something special, and we’re proud to give back to the neighborhoods that give us so much in return.

Growing Together
Edible Garden – Marin Art & Garden Center
Jennifer is a proud supporter of the Marin Art & Garden Center’s Edible Garden event, which raises funds to sustain one of Marin’s most cherished community spaces. Proceeds help keep the gardens beautiful and free for all to enjoy, maintain the Center’s historic buildings, and support the Garden School Scholarship Program — including school materials and extracurricular activities for students. The event also helps expand year-round art exhibitions and educational programs that inspire creativity and connection throughout our community.
Supporting Local Schools
Redwood High School Foundation
Each December, we’re proud to support the Redwood High School Foundation, which relies on generous contributions from parents and community members to fund innovative programs, cutting-edge tools, and equitable educational opportunities for students. These efforts help make Redwood an exceptional place to learn — and ensure every Giant has the opportunity to grow and thrive. You can find us lending a hand at the bookstore fundraiser, helping raise support for this incredible cause.
Toasting to Local Flavor
Tiburon Caviar Crawl & Tiburon Wine Festival
Community connection also happens through shared experiences — and few things bring people together like good food and wine. From the annual Tiburon Caviar Crawl to the Tiburon Wine Festival, we love participating in gatherings that celebrate local businesses and the unique culture of Marin.
Partnering for a Cause
Engel & Völkers & Special Olympics
Through Engel & Völkers’ partnership with Special Olympics, we’ve joined a global movement supporting inclusion, teamwork, and empowerment. Recently, Jennifer participated in 60 Minutes for Special Olympics, a fundraising and awareness event dedicated to supporting athletes of all abilities. From local walks to national initiatives, we’re honored to stand alongside athletes and advocates who inspire us every day.
Being connected to our community isn’t just part of what we do — it’s who we are. Whether we’re helping in the garden, supporting local students, or raising a glass with neighbors, we believe the strongest communities are built when we all give a little something back.
